Our Mission
Our mission at Early Foundation Daycare & Learning Center is to provide child-centered, play-based learning experiences for young children in a safe and nurturing environment. We believe that our program and services offer a developmentally appropriate curriculum, and we strive to foster the physical, social, and intellectual growth of our children.
Our Curriculum
We have themes of the week, and the lead teacher will base their curriculum/lesson plans on those themes. Our current week is May 15th, and the theme is birds. The Ponies and Calves rooms have a number, a letter, and a shape that they focus on, and they change bi-weekly. Some classrooms have a calendar that they talk about, and they talk about the days of the week, they work on counting, and color, letter, and shape recognition.

Director
Hi all! I just wanted to give you a little background about me. I am originally from Eagan, MN, where I started working in childcare when I was 16. When I was 23, I decided that it was time for me to continue my education, so I moved to Duluth, MN, to attend the University of Minnesota, Duluth. I received my degree in psychology with an emphasis on child development.
After college, I worked as a program coordinator and case manager for a homeless youth shelter, then finally as a mental health case manager for children and families. I stayed in Duluth for 7 years, where I met my husband, and together we decided to move to Fargo, ND.
We have been living in West Fargo for the last year with our 5-year-old lab, which keeps us on our toes. We now have a house and are excited to start our own family soon. During our free time, we enjoy going on walks with our dogs around the Fargo/Moorhead area and frequent road trips back to Duluth and Eagan to spend time with our families.
I am very excited to have gotten back into childcare in the last year and now starting this new journey as Director. I am excited to work with you and get to know each and every family here!

Assistant Director
Hello! My name is Karis Murry, I am 26 years old, and I am currently living in North Fargo! I am so excited about this opportunity to be an Assistant Director at Early Foundation Daycare & Learning Center.
Here's a little about me:
I was born in Fargo, but grew up in Wahpeton, ND, and graduated from Kenmare, ND, in 2015. I have been working in childcare ever since. I finished my CDA in the Spring of 2022, and I am excited to not only further my career as an Assistant Director but also to meet all of you and work with your children! I have my own little guy who is 3 years old, and he currently is in the Calves Room. A few of my favorite things include getting coffee, plant shopping, and jamming to music.
